On March 8th, the Season finale on SIX will air, so it’s great news that we now know History/A&E has ordered a 10-episode second season before the season one sign off! That’s 2 more episodes than the previous 8-episode order for season one. Now the question we all want answered: Will production return to Wilmington for Season 2? Well, they haven’t cleared their storage units, so that’s got to be a good sign, but I cannot tell you it’s a 100% done deal. We should know something by or before mid-March! If they do return to Wilmywood, we can look forward to production this summer. We could certainly use the work!
ABOUT SIX:
Six follows members of Navy SEAL Team Six, modern American warriors, whose covert mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with terrorists. In the first season, former SEAL Team Six troop leader, Richard ‘Rip’ Taggart (Walton Goggins), is captured by Boko Haram and it’s up to his former SEAL Team Six brothers – led by Joe Graves (Barry Sloane), Alex Caulder (Kyle Schmid) and Ricky “Buddha” Ortiz (Juan Pablo Raba) – to put their differences aside to locate and rescue their former troop leader. Edwin Hodge, Dominic Adams, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Jaylen Moore, Donny Boaz, and Nondumiso Tembe also star.(deadline)
