Day 14 of our Nicholas Sparks flick, The Choice, takes them to the Cape Fear Fair and Expo later this afternoon. They are doing a big carnival scene today with a lot of cast members including Benjamin Walker, Teresa Palmer and yes Tom Welling, you crazy fans!
Secrets and Lies is back in their hood in Porter’s Neck again.
Sleepy Hollow is back at the Cape Fear Club on Chestnut again.
A Nightmare on Princess Street (Sleepy) Holloween Party! It’s this Saturday night over at Hell’s Kitchen! Ben Yemba gives the details:
– There will be a $5 cover charge, which will get you two tickets.
One for the raffle and one for a draft beer.
It will also cover the DJ and the appetizers that will be provided.
– There will also be other $2 drafts

Vanessa Neimeyer of Ncasting is currently the extras casting director for South of Hell, the WeTV series shooting in Charleston, South Carolina. For those in North Carolina that travel to SC for work, Vanessa has created a cost saving facebook page!

On Friday, November 14, the North Carolina Museum of History Associates, gala chairs Dena and Charlie Silver, and gala honorary chairs Martha De Laurentiis and Thom Mount, will host a star-studded preview of the blockbuster exhibition Starring North Carolina! at the NC Museum of History.
The Hollywood Premiere Gala will take place in the glamorously transformed museum, and will start with guests posing on a step-in-repeat entrance in front of paparazzi cameras. Inside, guests will be delighted over the dramatic decorations, extravagant dinner fare and libations, and ear-pleasing strands of Sidecar Social Club.
If you are unable to join us at the premiere gala, the exhibition will be on display at the museum from November 15, 2014 to September 6, 2015.
Starring North Carolina! highlights the role our great state has played in the film industry for over 100 years.
This exhibition celebrates the more than 3,000 movies, documentaries, commercials, school videos, and television shows that have ties to our state.
These films and television shows are just a sampling of the productions showcased in the exhibition: Firestarter, Dirty Dancing, The Last of the Mohicans, Weekend at Bernie’s, Dawson’s Creek, and Tammy. Keep spreading the word about early voting! The Elon Poll came out this morning and here’s a few fun facts!
Hagan holds a steady lead over Tillis with Election Day just days away.
Hagan has solidified a 45-41 margin against Rep. Thom Tillis, the speaker of NC House, since the Elon University Poll found the same numbers in early September. Another 6 percent of likely voters plan to support another candidate, while 7 percent remain undecided.
Locally, support for North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory is eroding among likely voters. 37% of likely voters approve of his job performance, down 6 percentage points since last month. 15% didn’t know how they felt about the governor.
Other voting facts:
129,841 in-person early votes in NC Wednesday exceeds 2010 highest one-day total 125,412 (Friday b4 election).
Here are the statewide number in early voting based on political party as of yesterday:

Dem: 49%,
GOP: 30.8%,
Una: 20%,
Lib: 0.1%
